The newly launched redmi note 7 is actually a waterproof phone.This phone kill all the competitions in a second.In the official announcement the representatives misses this features to reveal but the CEO reveals it later on social media. Although it is not IP certified but the engineers put lot of efforts to seal allthe weak points . It will probably survive some splashes, accidental drops in water and everyday use in a moderate dusty environment.


With a cheap price tag it will be the first smartphone to be water proof under 15000 or even 25000.Every part is cover  with a protection as seen in picture below.
