Vivo India has confirmed the key specifications of Vivo Z1 Pro which is expected to be launched in India soon. This will the first smartphone in the Z series and also the company's first online-focused smartphone, targeted at Gen Z consumers. The Vivo Z1 Pro has not been launched in any other country yet and India would be the first one to receive it. Along with this, Vivo has also confirmed that the smartphone will be a Flipkart exclusive. However, the company has not revealed its launch date and details about availability.

The Vivo Z1 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, which makes it the first smartphone to launch with this processor in India. The device has a three camera set up at the rear, paired along with AI. From the trailer of the device, we can infer that Vivo will dub this setup as “AI Triple Camera”.

With the in-display front camera, the Z1 Pro will be Vivo’s first smartphone with a hole punch display to launch in India. Due to the in-display camera, the device will have a much higher screen - to - body ratio as compared to the previous Vivo phones.

Director of Brand Strategy at Vivo India, Nipun Marya comments, “Offering meaningful and innovative experience has been a key pillar of our strategy and our partnership with Flipkart is a step further in that direction. The all-new Z series has been designed to empower the young millennials and fulfil the dynamic needs of the 'Gen Z',” on the launch of Vivo Z1 Pro and partnership with Flipkart.
The phone is also set to feature a bigger battery and as confirmed by Vivo, it will feature their exclusive fast charging technology. The price of the Z1 Pro should be somewhere around Rs. 20,000/-.
